Are Any of the Students Below the
Future ADTC Teachers?

Miss Kiri
Receptionist
Well, some people just can't stay away from the ADTC!! Miss Kiri worked here about six years ago (just before Miss Renee started), and only left because she was moving to Queensland to live.
She is very excited to be back working here, and is enjoying meeting all of the new students and their parents (and re-aquainting herself with the 'older' ones)!! She is a qualified beautician, but decided that working at ADTC was exactly what she wanted to be doing now. She is also a mummy too, to little Tommy, who has already come in for his first visit!
Miss Kiri will be working at the Reception desk on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. As Wednesdays are now a little quieter, we ask that students who attend that day either make their payments on another day, or use our Direct Deposit option. Please phone the Centre for information on 4954 9477.

Miss Carmen

Carmen has been dancing with the ADTC since she was 5 years of age, and has been teaching dance classes for 12 years (we know .... she looks so young)!!
She is an accomplished dancer and choreographer, and teaches Jazz, Tap, Pre-School Classical Ballet and is also a qualified Zumba instructor. Carmen has also been employed as a choreographer for Channel 10 advertisements (and even made a guest appearance in the Cardiff Toyota ad)! She has also worked with Newcastle's own Super Hubert as his Magician's Assistant.

Later this year she will be appearing in the one-woman show ‘Bombshells’.

She has taught, and continues to teach around the Hunter Valley teaching private singing, singing groups, musical theatre classes, and drama.

Miss Ashley
Private Singing Classes
Miss Ashley started her own singing and dancing lessons at ADTC as a very young child, and is now teaching Private Singing classes for students who are wanting to extend their training a little further, or who are interested in entering talent quests or vocal eisteddfods.
She thoroughly enjoys seeing her students' confidence improve during each term, and has already had outstanding results in the short time she has been teaching. She has a bright and bubbly personality, and works equally well with young and not-so-young students.
One of the highlights of her teaching career (and just a little bit quirky) was when she was employed to train a bridal couple in a duet that they planned on singing at their wedding reception as a surprise for their guests! Hmmm, the possibilities are endless!!

Miss Jazmyne
Monday Pre-Juniors
Miss Jazmyne started dancing at the ADTC as a student back in 1999.
She is currently studying for her Advanced 1 Certificate with the Royal Acadmey of Dance (London), her Gold Star and Gold Star & Bar Tap Dancing Exam with the LGTDA (Les Griffiths' Syllabus), and also continues to train in Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop and Tap classes.
Miss Jazmyne is a member of our Advanced Jazz and Tap Performance Troupes, and was one of many students who toured Hawaii and the USA in 2006 as a performer, with the highlight being a performance at Disneyland.
The students of the Monday Pre-Junior Jazz and Tap classes are really enjoying Miss Jazmyne's classes, and she loves sharing her passion of dance and performance with all her students.
